Flowers for

Bridie

While setting up for their mother’s funeral, Sofia and Zoe have to track down a bouquet of flowers to place next to their mother’s picture. They find themselves at a nearby wedding trying to get their hands on the brides bouquet only to be blocked by the brides overbearing sister.

Flowers For Bridie was shot across 1 week, at 2 locations. This short narrative film was directed by Sally Osterberg, written by Alex Wilson and produced by Aidan Gantschnigg. As the Director Of Photography, Jack Hogrefe has approached the film with a traditional cinematography style, shooting mainly between T5.6 and T8, using wider lens for more MID shot sizes and utilising tracking shots on the dolly for longer takes.

The visual style with blooming highlights creates emphasise on the themes in the film.
